Message from the Administrator

Dear Everyone (Parents, students and teachers),
I want to reiterate that the intention of my post is merely for the betterment of the students. Somehow or another, we tend to be very emotional over this issue and let our heart rule our comments and not our brain (including me). Even outsiders who have nothing to do with SMKBUD4 are getting involved.
This Saturday (9th August) at 10.00am, the Pengetua and the PIBG have agreed to hold a session with parents concerned to resolve all pending issues. Parents have replied to the Pengetua with a list of questions and the Pengetua, the school as well as the PIBG will try to answer all the matters highlighted.
Once the meeting is over and parents are happy with the response, I will remove all the postings in this website and no longer put any new posts. With this I appeal to all parents attending the meeting to be calm and hear what the Pengetua has to say.
Hopefully this will be my last posting and let's have a good meeting this Saturday.
And Pengetua, please ensure you attend the whole meeting and not like last Saturday whereby you only attended the opening and vanish for the rest of the session. This lead to some parents being annoyed as they have taken the time off to meet you. Please do not repeat this on the 9th August.

Before you delete the blog, could you reveal your name? You have one right?

It has been said, the identity will be revealed at the 9th forum.

WOW - imagine, parents and teachers coming on the 9th August just to find out who the blogger is. The objective of the meeting is to finally meet the Pengetua and to set things right. The focus is on the school and not about who the blogger is. The blogger have reasons to hide his identity at the momemt. He never asked for the identity of those who have posted in his blog. We should respect him as he has respected us. There are parents who wrote to the Blogger requesting to remove comments made by their children. The Blogger has done all that to protect the students. Please give the blogger a break.

actually, i dont think it will be best if the blogger reveals who he/she is. can you imagine what some of the teachers and the pengetua will do to his/her children when they find out who the blogger is?

or worse, the blogger could be a teacher and he or she will be transfered out immediately - maybe all the way to Miri. Just leave the blogger alone. The parents issue here is with the Pengetua as what "fed-up" has posted. It's not about the blogger.

it's better for the blogger to not reveal his/her identity as many complication will arise from there. sometimes it's best leave some information unknown although it's really frustrating.

if the identify of the blogger is revealed, it will effect his/her children.
be thoughtful of the consequences, you have no idea what will happen to the blogger if he/she reveals who he/she is

aiiyaahh..no need to reveal anyone's identity la not important. this is a blog for god's sake, its meant for people who are afraid of being persecuted to air their views and opinions freely and without fear or favour.
to everyone concern, just stick to the issues and if possible do come up with suggested solutions. don't just complain or just nag nag nag..without offering any solutions.any fool can nag(as you can see here) but it takes alot of effort to offer solutions (as you can see here as well),so few wise people around.

Interesting, so many called for the blogger to be revealed but remained under the name anonymous.

You sure have a lot of right to say that.

i heard that pn lee and along with many other teachers are going to be transferred out by the pengetua. IS THIS TRUE?

parents, i hope you people will ask about that this saturday

If changes cannot be made at BU4, then the whole education is not worthwhile. I hope parents can see this as the future for the nation on the whole.

I got news that an officer from the Ministry of Education will be presence to witness the meeting. Hope that with this the Pengetua will stay for the whole meeting. I am sure that on that day, she will find some excuse and go off leaving the teachers and PIBG to handle the questions. Wait, the excuse is aleady in hand - she has to attend to the officer from the Ministry of Education for some very important matters and as such unable to be presence for the whole duration of the meeting.

It is definitely not fair to ask blogger to reveal his name. He is doing the best he can for the school. What have you done except to demand for his name ?Would you do the same &
risk your kids being victimised?
Not having enough good teachers is a common problem for all schools & some of us were told to be understanding and accept the fact that all classes will have a good balance of good & not so good teachers.OK thats fine but we must ensure that the head is not rotten or maybe even racist. If good teachers are deliberately being transferred as a retaliation, then our kids are really going to suffer.BRING THIS ISSUE OUT FOR DISCUSSION ON SAT.

sometimes i wonder if you guys understand what you read. 1st, anonymous said
"..i heard that pn lee and along with many other teachers are going to be transferred out by the pengetua. IS THIS TRUE?"

then suddenly

another anonymous writes:

".. OK thats fine but we must ensure that the head is not rotten or maybe even racist. If good teachers are deliberately being transferred as a retaliation, then our kids are really going to suffer.BRING THIS ISSUE OUT FOR DISCUSSION ON SAT."

you notice:
1. the word racist?
2. good teachers are deliberately
being transferred as
retaliation?
You have not got your facts yet you are already making wild accusations.

1. Are you sure there will be transfers in the 1st place?
2.if yes,
is it common practice in other
school as well?
3.how you know if the teachers being transferred are good teachers or not so good teachers?
4.from comments made on this blog there were complaints by parents about the quality of some teachers so
maybe these teachers are the ones being transferred.
5.if teachers are being transfered
(if they are good teachers) perhaps its a promotion for them and if they happen to be not so good teachers maybe
the school is trying to ship out the not so good teachers replacing them with better teachers.
6.who decides on the transfer anyway? the kementerian or the pengetua??

A blogg can be a useful channel to share your ideas, opinions and thoughts but can also be a channel to spread malicious rumours and lies and in the process slander innocent defenceless people..so please be responsible when making comments here.Check your facts and make rationale comments.
Remember, we all want to improve the lot of our children, because ultimately they will be the ones to BENEFIT or SUFFER

On the comment made on the teachers will be transfered out is VERY TRUE. The Pengetua has aleady shortlisted a few teachers who she dislikes. These teachers will be transfered out soon. She made judgement based on the words of some teachers that she trust (no need to say who). This is very very real.

Aiya, simple...good or not, performance over the years show. So, likely you will know who they are! Supposed to transfer ones are not transferred...building an empire huh!

So you know what to do for tomorrow's meeting, don't you?

A "good" school for more than 5 years has suddenly turned "bad" with new head. What does that tell you?Transfer the head of course.
Students with no teachers in class ever so often , now have to resort to bringing pillows to sleep on!
