P.I.B.G or was it Phantom Committee

It has been many months since the AGM and during the meeting which I have attended, the two key position ie Chairman and Vice Chairman was elected without the member being presence. In the dialogue, a PIBG representative said that the PIBG will organise another meeting among the parents and the Pengetua to discuss about the issues raised that day. If I remember correctly, the reason for another dialogue was that it was getting late that day and if we continue, we would have to stay back till midnight. A few parents didnt mind staying back but the P.I.B.G. insisted that it was late and so everyone agreed.
My question now is
  • When is this meeting going to take place?
  • When is the Pengetua free to meet the parents?
  • When is the PIBG going to make this happen?
  • Has there been any PIBG meeting held after this AGM to discuss the issues raised?
  • Is the current P.I.B.G elected officers playing an active role in the school or are they just puppet committee members?
  • Has anyone audited the RM90,000 expenses and who has approved the accounts?
  • What has been done to the mosquitos issues in the school?
  • Has any funds been given to the soccer team to participate in the "Dato Bandar" tournamnet?
  • Why was the Teachers day not celebrated with appreciation given to the teachers? Go and ask your children how this day turned out.
  • What happen to the shelter that was supposed to be build to provide shade during assembly?
  • .......
  • .......
  • .......

Can someone please come up with an answer to the above. P.I.B.G please look into this matter before you be known as Phantom Ibu Bapa dan Guru Guru.

wake up people. Teachers are leaving, more applying. We can bear with the silence from PIBG for only so long. Can the PIBG sent a letter officially to meet with the Pengetua. Once, twice, third time, we have enough record to go a further step to remove her! My kids love the school and very sad to see the reputation going down.

The PIBG is a lap dog and a dog with no teeth? All barks and no bite? If the parents are prepared to do nothing about this, then dont complain too much about the situation it is in. It is lucky that we live in a democratic country (many countries are still fighting dying for this right, if you do not exercise this invaluable right to make things work properly then what is the point? A public servant should always work for his/her people. People power applies
