The Pengtua and her Questionable Connections

Something really confused me here. On the PIBG AGM, the Pengetua invited some high ranking officers from the Education department to be guest of honour. During the PIBG meeting (for those of you who attended) something very suspicious was going on. Why was she so busy attending to the Education department officers when the most important agenda for the day was meeting the parents. Any Pengetua would have excused herself/himself and go back to the main meeting. My suspicion as follows:-
  • At the meeting, she wants to indirectly point out to us and even to the teachers that "hey I have my connection so dont screw around with me". You try screwing with me, I will make your life miserable.
  • That the parents are not important as they are no threat to her as she knows higher level people in the Education department. Also dont screw around with me as I have good connection and I can also find out which class your child is in.
  • What can the parents do her as any mistakes made can be directly pointed back to the PIBG committee. I feel sorry for the current committee who were elected in. Hey P.I.B.G please wake up and dont make irrational decision.

During the administration of the 1st Pengetua I used to be able to chat freely with the teachers when I meet them in the school (along the parking lane). I enjoyed meeting up with some of the teachers and have friendly discssuion about the school. Now it seem that the teachers are very afraid talk. Whenever I asked a question the reply I get was "Please ask the Pengetua".

I am beginning to wonder how she got to be the Pengetua here. It is a well known fact that everyone would want to be a Pengetua in a good and established school whereby everything is in proper. The legacy that the first Pengetua left behind makes this position extremely attractive. So how did she get to be here? Till now her ability to run the school and the administration clearly indicates that she is FAR from being capable. Her PR is "Pure Rubbish". I observed more "Hilter" style of administration. By way does anyone knows where the husband is working? Someone please enlighten us on this as it may become interesting reading material?

i'm pretty sure her husband has a nice comfortable position somewhere in the ministry/government.

I dont see any other explanation on how she got to this school other than that.

Okay,as much as I hate to say this. But,what must be said MUST be said. The so-called "pengetua" has no respect for other races in our school.I am a student in SMKBUD(4) myself. She is the very thing that defies racism.Furthermore, she preaches and tells us that religion is very important.Does anyone else notice that she is trying to make a very religious point here? And,yes,on that day I was there as she mainly SCREAMED the word,"CINA" during Teacher's Day.Has she no respect for us?Herself?Teachers? She is a woman that knows no shame and disgrace.Hasn't she embarrass the school enough?By changing the "malam bakat" into so-called "hari bakat",she expects students to show up at the Sri Kdu hall at what time exactly for rehearsals?5 in the morning?5.30?She expects students to perform so early in the morning and wants it to be a spectacular performance. She is simply wanting the impossible.Someone here,PLEASE make this pengetua open her eyes.Has she no clue that she's actually destroying the school?A world class headmistress?Indeed she is.

Another thing, all she wants is to use up the school's money and spend it on building pondoks and fountains.

Seems to me like she's more interested in beautifying the school than actually focusing on things that are more important like: THE STUDENTS ACADEMICS and KOKURIKULUM, and the amount of mosquitoes in the school.

So far, four(or maybe more) students have been infected with dengue fever. But does she seem to care? No.

She seems to be contributing to the dengue too. By building more fountains(which are poorly taken care of) and allowing the mosquitoes to breed.

If I'm not mistaken, during the PIBG meeting, some parents realized that there is less than RM10 000 in the PIBG fund. Didnt we raise more than RM 100 000 last yr?

What happened to all the money?

I am not sure about this, but I heard her husband is a Director for some Government Department.

I would like to bring an issue to attention as I find it quite disturbing. Recently I heard from many students stating that the Pengetua has her private room in the school. I then asked further and found out that she is actually using the Bilik Kesihatan as her so called "private room". The room has been locked up. Someone, please enlighten us with this issue. I am disturbed with that act because the Bilik Kesihatan is meant for the students or even teachers who are not feeling well to use but what is happening with it now?

Selepas itu walk out of assembly half way through the ceremony. Pelajar tanya siapa biadab? Pengetua yang tidak prihatin, tidak sopan dan tidak menghormati yang lain tetapi paksa yang lain menghormatinya.

How she got to be the headmistress? Probably because majority of the school students are Chinese and I also believe that the Education Department played a part in this.

The VIP she invited on that day was the Pengarah of Jabatan Pelajaran Negeri Selangor, Datin Hamidah binti Nordin who recently retired (if i'm not mistaken).

we all know what's going on. but think about it... what can she REALLY do to the students? If the students do not give her the chance to do anything, and just stay in class and study, i dont think that the other small problems will be of much effect. i mean she can cut out facilities and stuff, but can she really do things to impede the studies of your kids? i mean that IS the REAL reason for going to school right?

for example. beautification, football, language etc etc. NONE OF THAT affects the way teachers teach in class or the way students study. if the purpose of going to school is to study, then i do not see any big problems yet.

as an ex student, i hv been with all 3 pengetua's. and all of them aroused our (the students) suspicions. maybe you all as parents do not get the full picture. but i can assure all of u, that every pengetua had their skeletons.

i hv to admit though that this 3rd pengetua has set some really ridiculous rules and stuff but to repeat myself, IF the purpose of going to school is to make friends, STUDY, and spend the TEEN years, than i do not see much problem with the teachers and students carrying out their own duties despite whatever the principal does.

for all i can see, this is just another step in life. college life is much more interesting. so tell your kids to study hard, hv fun, and if the lessons suck, maybe we should start blaming the teachers instead (coz we all know where all the good teachers have gone to)

cheers.

Our school used to be somewhat famous among the schools in the petaling area when it was under Pn.Liu Ling Ling. After pn.liu ling ling retired, another pengetua came and many students dislike her too BUT at least, she didn't change anything that was unimportant such as : -

- malam bakat (that was our tradition) to pagi bakat
- cheerleaders have to wear stockings
-everyone has to speak BM
-all muslims have to pray on Monday when there are other students who are non-muslims around
etcetc.

the cheerleaders in our school are currently a laughing stock for other countries as they think that the cheerleaders in our school has the most disgusting outfit (sports day 2008). the cheerleaders in our school weren't allowed to wear skirt.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F50sZxEhxxI

lastly and most importantly, our previous principles RESPECTED us.

HJH ZABEDAH BT HAJI ABAS (the name of our current principle) DOES NOT DO THAT! I am not adding a "puan" in front because she does NOT deserve MY respect. wait, ALL OF THE STUDENT'S respect.

we hope to see her get fired very soon.

sincerely ,
SMKBUD(4)'s students.

Puan Zabedah..i hope you're reading this. You suck. Everyone hates you. Why must you be such a .....? Anyway, i got a few questions. First, when will you be leaving? Second,do you know me? I bet you don't know. I really hate you. Words cant describe my hatred. Do the whole school a favour and leave. You can take those orang utan pondoks and that fountain back to Sepilok. I hate you. The school hates you.

I agree with most students that the principle is out of hand. Eversince this school has become a place for the denggi mosquito to breed due to the ''swimming pool'' in the field, parents have been concerned about their children's safety. The question is, why the funds should be wasted on the pondoks and not the school field?

zabedah, if you're reading this,

PLEASE RETURN TO SEPILOK FOREST RESERVE IMMEDIATELY. YOUR FAMILY THERE MISSES YOU DEARLY AND WANTS YOU BACK IN THEIR LIFE. JUST RESIGN OK? THANKS.

=_= as an ex-student, i am very pissed off at the fact that the current pengetua has managed to destroy the school i was once so proud of. I hope the students there will kick her in her big fat ass soon.

FYI, the mosquito problem has really gotten out of hand. i went back to school one day for some activity, and while waiting outside, god knows how many mosquito attacked me. thank god i am not getting denggi or the school gonna be in trouble.

Look, I know most students are unstaisfied with the ways things are being run by the headmistress, but I don't think you all should vent your frustration by insulting her vituperatively.

The more we take things personally, the more she will encase herself in self-delusion. Let's try to focus on the main issue of her method of handling the school and not her herself.

We have seen that she does not feel guilty about insulting remarks that degrade her in the eyes of society. Therefore, it is pointless to blindly throw insults at her anymore.

Let's instead focus on ways to allow her to improve herself. Either that, or, we could focus on finding a way to get her out of the school. Venting one's frustration is an undeniable emotional need, but doing it here is particularly unwise.

@s.t.u.d.e.n.t : hahaha teen years? Well, These things actually affect our teen years btw. For example, you said "for example. beautification, football, language etc etc."...Football is a sport that many people love and it is good for our health. Well the exercise is. Language, it is important..BM is too but they are just annoyed by the fact that the Headmistress puts more importance on it compared to other languages. You probably didn't spend your TEEN years well, since you emphasized so much on STUDY STUDY STUDY.

s.t.u.d.e.n.t, you don't have to kiss the pengetua's ass. All that trash-talk coming out from you isn't going to change our perception towards her. I hated her since the first day of school. In many cases, we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. However, this is an exception.

Anonymous said...

Well, she's the ?itch isn't she? I hate her, just like you all, but we can't do anything to her unless we unite, so be united, and drive this brainless virago(check this out) out of our territory.

She must have been to the Ghengzis Khan school of interpersonal skills and diplomacy. In this day and age, its difficult and extremely rare to find such a lack of people and leadership skills in a so call 'leader'. What happen in the head teachers' training school? There are many good leadership training courses around. Maybe all the parents should chipped in some money and send the HM to a good leadership course?

maybe ppl should just stop giving a crap about what she's doing.
as i can see, nothing's done and all this ramblings don't get nowhere.
what's all the big hoohah about?
i mean just suck it with her idiotic ways.and by the time ur out along with ur testimonial.
then just give her this ,,1,,
