I received a circular from the school this week whereby the PIBG has initiated a meeting on the 9th August between the parents and the Pengetua to resolve and to clarify all issues related to the school. I am very happy that this is being organised as for the 1st time, there will be a direct contact and communication between the Pengetua and the parents.
Parents who have issues and questions, please put it forward and also attend this meeting which I hope will end all the dissatisfaction among parents, students as well as the teachers in the school.
A message to the parents attending the meeting, please note the Pengetua has taken the effort to meet up with us. So let's give her a chance to explain the issues and all time we must remain calm and not get emotional.
To the Pengetua - please ensure you attend the whole meeting and not leave it to the PIBG and teachers to answer the questions raised. The parents are very rational people and once you gain their confidence, you will have their support as evidenced from the efforts they have given to the previous and 1st Pengetua.

I am just wondering who is this so call someone who care? surely if you care enough you will not hesitate to identify yourself. Perhaps you are but a handful of parents making all thiese noises? You see, in your supposedly breaking news, you indicate a poor turn up by the parents. So what happened? where were all the so called concerned parents? why so few turned up when they have a chance to have a dialogue with the school.The entire exercise was organised by the PIBG as indicated in the PIBG bulletin and not by the school and yet a handful of parents tried to hijack the meeting for their own benefit,shame on you!!!!!! cowards!!

Do you have any idea what will happen to this admin if his/her identity is revealed? What will happen to the children? This blog most probably had offended the pengetua and her teacher-supporters. What do you think will happen then?

From what you have written and from the fact that you have the PIBG constitution and able to quote from it. I can safely conclude that you are either one of the PIBG member who supported the Pengetua or a teacher who suck up to the Pengetua. As for me - I can be anyone, a parent who cares about his/her children in the school or a teacher who knows what is going on.
You mentioned that the 1st meeting there was only form 5 while the second is Form 3 and 4. Form 5 has 9 classes and the turn up was 8 parents. Combined form 3 and 4 you have 15 classes and the turn should be about 16 ie double of the 1st meeting. Instead the turn up was more than 30 which is almost 4 times more. Hey you are lousy in maths - I can also draw a conclusion here that you are a present or ex-PIBG member. You dont even know the number of classes in the school. I report facts.
The title head stated that it was a 'suaikenal'. If u r a 5th former, would u still want to 'kenal' the pibg members or the teachers AGAIN??

The meeting for form 5 was not well attended cause what can the parents do as their children have few months left before the SPM and school will be over. Form 3 and 4 on the other hand requires attention. Also in the form 5 meeting, the Pengetua showed up so the Form 3 and 4 parents think that she will do so in their meeting. When the crowd exceed 30, your Pengetua chicken out and dare NOT show her face.

Like what the administrator had commented, you know about the PIBG constitution and also commented on the role of the PIBG and the Pengetua. You are definately a current or ex-PIBG member. If you are really sincere do the best with whatever precious little resources that the school has. You can't have 100% perfect teachers and 100% perfect pengetua just like you are not 100% perfect yourself.

Let us all stop this mud-slinging arguments - yes everyone is entitle to air their opinions and comments but try to think objectively and in all fairness no one in their right frame of mind wants to stir trouble for the pengetua. Let me put you all back into perspective :-
1. PIBG funds are contributed by the parents; remember the last fund raising canteen day most of the students are obliged to buy or help sell at least 4-5 booklets of coupons and even parents who are known to the school are 'obliged' to buy 10 booklets and even more! All the efforts and sacrifices and of course down to the money bit is hard earned - is it fair that this funds be improperly used without any priority given to areas that matters most? If the excuse is to beautify the school just because someone finds it lacked 'keceriaan" to welcome her VIP guest - why not use funds from the ministry? As per the PIBG constitution, PIBG funds are not suppose to be use for such purposes - it is to be used to improve the welfare of all students. As a matter of fact, a copy of the pibg constitution should be made available to all parents who are pibg members so that everyone is in the know of what is right and wrong.Afterall we parents paid our pibg dues didnt we??
It is we parents who wants to put things in order so that our children and the school be put back on track and because we have the right to complain we did the proper thing ie to complain to the higher authorities and with that came the 'pressure' for the pengetua to call for this meeting with parents on the 9th Aug.
Questions posed during the AGm were not properly answered and by right there shouldn't be an Agm because the YDP and his deputy were not present and to make matters worse, the penasihat which is the pengetua didn't want to be part of it whilst under the excuse of entertaining her VIP guest.
The past 7 years the school progressed smoothly - and now wow we have one tyrant pengetua who is insensitive and selfish for personal gains.She started off on a bad footing - issues with lion dance, disband of cheerleading,and now misuse of pibg funds, ineffective in tackling the school problems with discipline - student fights, drugs, smoking, truancy etc etc. How many of you are aware of the increasing disciplinary problems lately? Gang fights with racial sentiments issues have to be immediately addressed - what is the school doing about this? Their lackadaisical attitude sucks!
To those who are 'holier than thou' attitude - please wake up open your eyes and ears and do some constructive thinking.
Also lets not forget the pibg committee also have to take the blame for this fiasco - in all fairness the last pibg committee 2007 should be held accountable.
This should teach everyone a lesson - choose wisely and vote the right candidates with responsiblity and integrity and the ability to say NO when things are not going right!

You know,some of the teachers in order to get a promotion to be pengetua in their former school(eg. B) have to leave the school.They then assume the rank in another school(eg. A) as a pengetua.After a certain period of time,they can then return to their former school(eg. B) as a pengetua and take control there.
Thats the case for Hasni as she wanted to become the pengetua of her former school.smk bu4 was just a short cut for her to become pengetua.No one drove her out.She made the move there after "destroying" our school.

Nobody is perfect, least of all this pengetua, but we have to accept her.
When Hasni got out, either because we pressured her or because of her own agenda, we got Zabedah, whom many assume as worse.
Would you want someone worse still leading the school next year?
Give her a break. She came from Sabah to the heart of KL. She was not so tuned to our lifestyle here, so she made some mistakes. Give her a break.

if pn. hasni came to our school for only a 'short stint' and went back as pengetua in du school, that's great news. is the current pengetua doing this, sorry no huh, because she's lasted more than 4 months, very sad!
assuming she's staying on, as concerned parents and members of pibg, please, let us all get hold of our copy of the pibg constitution, read up with intention to full understanding. it's only thro' understanding that all of us can make informed choices. and, as rightly pointed out, in the next agm, please vote in only people that can and will perform their duties and responsibilities to their best capabilities. no more missing ajks during committee meetings and for goodness sake, ask questions till one is satisfied before making decisions. Proposals will be suggested during the committee meeting to get endorsement. Let’s wake up and take responsibilities for what we can.

Calling all parents, please attend this meeting 9/8/08 whether or not you have questions/problems.
We cannot ignore and merely accept the fact that all govt schools are like that...it's like that because we do not bother.
Times have changed, we have to put our feet down and make it right! Be united and with such a force, we would surely be able to stop the rot!
With all those hammering, I have this to say:
1) Some have mixed up "ability" with "attitude". No one is saying they can't teach, it's the attitude unbecoming of teacher towards parents eg. the shouting that pissed all.
2) As for Pn Rose's case, parents gave her "FACE" that day. But she better value it and don't try anymore stunts or she will be "DEFACED" one day.
3) Identification? : This is a free world. What's wrong if one chooses to remain anonymous, it's their right! Why keep asking for identity? Whether what's said is fact or otherwise, the truth will prevail eventually. Stop blogging if you still want to pursue who's who!
4) On the mosquitoe breeding area issue..it's quite interesting to note that HAMMER can tell you where the mosquitoe come from if your child is down with Dengue fever and it's never going to be from the school compound! Think the mosquitoes have identification tags on them. LOL.
