Message from A Parent
As such the adminstrator feels that MR LIM a.k.a MARCUS is incapable to help in this matter and as such has removed his message.
The administrator wishes to apologize to all visitors to this blog for an oversight in this matter.
Marcus - if you want to help then stop your schoolmates from transfering out of the school.
MARCUS THE MINUTES OF THE AUGUST MEETING AND THE PIBG CONSTITUTION WAS NEVER SEND OUT. NONE OF THE PARENTS I SPOKE TO HAS RECEIVED IT. IF YOU WANT TO HELP AND CLAIM THAT YOU HAVE SEEN IT, PLEASE ASK THE SCHOOL TO MAIL IT OUT TO ALL PARENTS. IF NOT THERE WILL BE A TSUNAMI AT THE NEXT PIBG AGM WHICH YOU WONT BE AROUND TO WITNESS. CALL THE AJK PIBG AND GET THEM TO HELP YOU OUT IF YOU ARE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT IT. YOU HAVE VOICED OUT YOUR WILLINGNESS TO HELP AND WOULD BE A BIG SLAP ON YOUR FACE IF NO ACTIONS WERE TAKEN. DONT LEAVE BEHIND A LEGACY AS A PERSON WHO DID NOTHING AND JUST TALK (OR IN THIS CASE "WRITE") ONLY. DONT LET THIS MATTER HAUNT (ie if you failed) YOU BUT RATHER BE PART OF YOUR LIFE ACHIEVEMENT.

Greetings from Administrator
The purpose of setting this website is to keep parents, students as well as teachers to be aware of the events that are happening in the school and to bring SMKBUD4 back as the pride of Bandar Utama Damansara.
The objective is to get parents united for a good cause but instead during the “Hari Raya open house” visits. I heard that many of the parents have decided to throw in the towel and transfer their children out. This is indeed a very sad and selfish move. It’s typical of us that we never defend our stand. If this is the intention of the parents then I have wasted my efforts in trying to shape the school back. Many times we tend to take the easy way out and when things go wrong. Does transferring to a new school means that your child will be better of. What if the Pengetua is later transferred to the school where you have just put your child it. Stay back and stand firm and jointly resolve this problem together. At least in SMKBUD4 we know what the issues are.
The webpage is used as a communication tool so that parents are kept updated of what is happening. Instead it’s been abused with foul language and is used to attack one another. This is a much uncivilized act and it only shows how childish we are. Visitors from other schools - please refrain from using abusive language. (I shall delete comments that uses foul language)
Everyone is keen and asked who the administrator is. Some even called me a dog. “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me”. So I am a dog – big deal. I will eventually bite back one day.
I have a reason for not reviewing myself and the answer is obvious. Yet some of you still insist that I reveal who I am. I shall do so when the time comes.
For parents who are still wondering if they should enrol their child in SMKBUD4 starting 2009. The answer is very obvious and it’s a definate YES. It has the most dedicated teachers who place the importance of your child before anything else. You can be assured that this year SPM and PMR examination results will be better than the previous year.

Message from Administrator
Please note that the purpose and prime objective of this website is to keep parents aware of the situation in the school and what are the shortfalls ahead of us. It is also a mean to ensure that both students and teachers welfare are protected.
I strongly suggest that visitors that have no direct contacts with the school (ex-students are an exception) to stop posting message on the website. I will delete any messages from visitors who are NOT in any way related to the school.
Please do your best to keep up the standard of the school and continuously strive to make SMKBUD4 as the best school in the state of Selangor.
Do write in to Puan Ashah and express your concerns. She is a wonderful lady and will look into our appeal. Dont be scared as we have the rights to complain if something is not good.
- We complain to the manager when the food is not good in the restaurant
- We complain and return item we bought that is faulty
- We compalin to the internet provider when the line is down.
- We complain to the mechanic when our car is not repair properly.
AND when our children's education and their future is in trouble we make noise among ourselves and hope that someone will resolve the matters for us. What can be more important than our children future who is now studying in SMKBUD4.
We must not be selfish and just swept this dust under the carpet. We must act immediatley and take the necessary actions and the right thing. As they say "actions speak louder than words". Go into your email account, click Puan Ashah email address and send your complaints to her.
Best wishes to all sitting for the PMR examaination and a big thank you to those who have visited and supported the efforts to improve the education and welfare of the students at SMKBUD4.
Case of the Missing Pengetua
Today I received some news from many parents that the PMR students went back to the school for some briefing last Friday. Most teachers were there to wish the students success in their examination. Puan Lee (in her usual grin and smile) continuously whispered 5 sweet words to the students and the words were “Make sure Get Straight “A”.
I then asked the parents what did the Pengetua said? To my shocking surprise, the Pengetua wasn’t even in school. Apparently she was away in a course and won’t be in school next week during the PMR examination. What kind of Pengetua do we have who put her personal ambition (by attending a course) first instead of her students? She should have asked that she attend the course at a later date or even defer it as she should be around to give moral support to the students. This is also not the first time she does her famous "missing acts".
As such I let me summarize the following and I hope that the Pengetua and all of us will take note.
- Missing during most part of the PIBG 2008 AGM.
- Missing during Hari Bakat.
- Missing at the Cheer Leaders competition.
- Missing from some of the important soccer tournament whereby SMKBUD4 were playing in crucial qualifying matches.
- Missing “Hari Temu Mesra”
- Missing from all the “Majlis Suaikenal PIBG (which she got Puan Rose to provide the "excuse" that it was Puan Rose that requested the Pengetua not to attend)
- Missing most of the time when officers from the kerajaan went to the school to enquire about the complaints raised by the parents.
- Missing in school when parents go there to look for you.
- Missing in school when students are looking for you.
- And NOW the grand finale – Missing when your students are about to sit for the PMR examination and during the week of the PMR examination.
Honestly what kind of Pengetua are you. On the 9th August meeting, one parent has pointed out the importance of you (as the Pengetua) to be there to render your support to your students as you would be like a family to them when they are in school. Instead you push these students aside and place your personal goals and ambitions ahead of them. This is indeed very very and extremely SELFISH of you.
With this incident created, the parents and most students would now expect you to be away during the SPM. Maybe after this posting, you will force yourself to stay.
It seem that after the 9th August meeting, you still haven’t change your ways. The minutes of the meeting is still pending or rather MISSING and the PIBG is dead silence and also seem to be MISSING.
The simplest answer to all these problems is to transfer our children out of the school. My reply is why we must let one selfish PERSON make us go through all the trouble of transferring our children when we can UNITE and transfer the PERSON OUT. We cannot be selfish like the Pengetua or we will end up just like her. Transfering our chidren out would only solve our own problem, what about those that stay back in the school. We must also care and consider other students and other parents that still have children studying in the school.
One parent has posted a message as where we can make our complaints about the school. I strongly urge all parents to write in and express your issues to
Puan Ashah bt Samah
ashah.samah@sel.moe.gov
I advise all parents to write to her. She is a very nice person and would welcome your emails even if it’s written in English. We need to update Puan Ashah the urgency of this matter.
Please write to Puan Ashah now and let's unite together and resolve this matter. We must show to the Pengetua that the parents of SMKBUD4 cares and dares.

Message to all Form 3 and Form 5 students
To the Form 5 students. Work hard on your SPM examination and when you leave school, do have good memories especially to all the teachers who have taught and guide you through these 5 years. Never leave the school with any bad feelings. Cherish all the good time you have at SMKBU4 and do keep in touch with your teachers should you go overseas. I am sure there will be alot of successful profesional people in the near future and they all at one time studied in SMKBU4.
To all the teachers - thank you for the patient and time with these students. Your hard work, dedication and committment in this school has been most admirable. Your efforts have been greatly appreciated by all.
To the Pengetua - sorry for asking in public but where is the minutes/report for the 9th August Meeting with the parents. It's already 2 months now and do we have to wait another 4 months before we get it.
The Administrator.

Puan Lee - Staying back??
To Puan Lee,
The parents as well as the students in the school needs you. Your committment and dedication to the school in all these years are well noted and NEVER forgotten. No one can replace you and the students in the school will always cherish the time you spend with them and look forward for more of your leadership and dedication in building the standard of education in the school. Everyone in the school remembers the moment you walk up on the stage with the following sweet words - "Good morning I am Puan Lee". The moment these 6 words are heard, you can hear students cheering from the assembly.
Your colleagues also cherish the friendship and time you share with them. You are like a sister to them. The day when they heard you are leaving there was so much sadness in the school that you can feel that many teachers wanted to give up.
So glad that you decided NOT to leave and the fact that you put the interest of the students 1st by staying on (with all the issues surrounding you) shows that you are truely someone we will respect with the highest honor.

Who is NEXT?
I received some comments that states the following:-
- The approval letter for Pn.Lee's transfer came only on Thursday (25th September), the next day a ceremony was held to send Pn. Lee off. There was an error on the appointment letter and Pn. Lee had to go to the Ministry to get it rectified.
- The Principal did not bother and went on holding the ceremony to announce that Pn. Zubaidah Ishak was to be made PK1 while Pn. Aini Wardiah to be made PK Kokurikulum.
- From reliable sources, it seems that Pn. Zubaidah's appointment letter as PK 1 came as early as in August whereby Pn. Lee was still the PK 1. How can that be? Is the Pengetua able to see into the future?
- Pn. Aini has not recieved her appointment letter, so how can the principal announce that Pn. Aini is the new PK Koko. It is obvious that the principal has planned all these since months ago. We cannot let this go on.
I appeal to all to post into this blog if you are aware that a particular teacher will be transferred out. Let’s put their names in the blog so that all parents would know what is going to happen. By knowing the names of the teachers, parents can UNITE once more to prevent the transfer of good teacher whereby jeopardising the education result of the school.
Do put in the teachers' full name and the subjects that they teach so that all parents are aware of the seriousness of this matter.

PUAN LEE TSOCK WAH WAS TRANSFERED OUT

LOSS of A GREAT and RESPECTED TEACHER
I have told myself that I would stop the blog after the 9th August meeting. Till now I still heard news that nothing has been done in the school and the meeting was just the Pengetua plot to conceal her mistakes. It was her devious way in making the parents happy and getting them off her back while she resort to her personal agenda. Lately (this afternoon at 1.12pm) I received an an SMS that tomorrow (26th SEPT 2008) is Puan Lee Tsock Wah last day at the school. It seems that she has been transferred out of SMKBUD4. The Pengetua did NOTHING to prevent the transfer knowing very well that it the school is already short of teachers and it takes months to replace a teacher. Puan Lee Tsock Wah was among the founder of the school and her commitment is appreciated by all the parents. It makes no sense to transfer her out. What is the Pengetua up to? We all know how much the Pengetua hates Puan Lee and how much the students and parents love her.
Anyone with a normal intelligence would know Puan Lee’s contribution to the school and how she has build the reputation of the school. A sensible Pengetua would break his/her back to ensure that Puan Lee stays on, instead she did the opposite.
Here are some questions that I post to the Pengetua.
- At the meeting, minutes were recorded – where are they?
- Issues were raised at the meeting – such as the in-proper spending of the PIBG funds. – What remedy action has been taken?
- Discipline and fights in the school – what action has been taken? No notice has been send out on this.
I heard from the grapevine that more teachers have applied to be transfer out citing that it is IMPOSSIBLE to work with the Pengetua. How many more casualties must the children face before actions can be taken? Can someone help and will the PIBG please do something instead of sitting down and letting this matter erode further.
Lets UNITE once more and do something for the school. I am sure we have enough of the Pengetua's lies and all her empty promises to the parents and to the school.
HEY PENGETUA - I AM BACK

Farewell Message from the Administrator
Zabedah Bt Hj. Abbas met with over 50 parents to resolve pending issues with the school. Questions raised by the parents were either answered by the Pengetua, teachers or the PIBG representative.Matters concerning the well being of the students were raised and suggestions were taken to resolve these issues.
There were few incidents of frustration when the answers provided were not satisfactory (there were some occasional “boos” and “ahhhhh”) but in the end both parties (parents and Pengetua) came to an understanding what needs to be done for the betterment of the students and the school.
Puan Karamjit gracefully came forward and explained her behavior on the 19th July. She was a gem when she apologized to the parents on the incident whereby she acted in the interested of the students.
The correct procedure in getting the approval to spend the PIBG funds was highlighted in details by a parent (with reference to the PIBG constitution) and the remarks made were well noted by both PIBG representatives as well as the school.
With this, I will remove all remarks made on this blog by the 16th August unless there are further issues that need to be resolved.Thank you all for your postings and remarks and most important of all, your continuous efforts in ensuring that SMKBUD4 the best school in P.J.
With this, I hope that the school will now focus on the most important matter of all and that is the betterment of the students in the school. And also to once again raise the reputation of the school to be among the best in Selangor.
A big thank you to the Pengetua, teachers and representative of the PIBG as well as the 50 over parents that attended and making this meeting possible.
Best Wishes
From the Administrator

ANOTHER BREAKING NEWS - meeting with parents on 9th August
Tuesday, July 22, 2008
BREAKING NEWS: - PIBG Representative wanted to call Police as a warning to Parents.
After I reported on the 1st Majlis Suaikenal whereby only 8 parents attended, I have little hope for the 2nd meeting to be better. I was expecting an attendance of less than 8 but was I wrong?
On the morning of 19th July, a handful of parents met outside the SMKBUD4 School to hand out a pamphlet to other parents who were attending the SuaiKenal that has been organized by the Pengetua. The objective of the pamphlets were to create awareness amongst concerned parents regarding the mounting issues facing the school as well as to request the Pengetua to transfer if she is unable to perform her duties for the betterment of the students. This handout of pamphlets was seen by Ms Karamjit as she was coming to the school. It seems that Ms Karamjit was way too defensive over this matter and over reacted on the situation.
As the group was walking towards the meeting room, Ms Karamjit came marching towards it and started shouting on top of her voice, saying, “call off the meeting as these parents are trying to remove the Pengetua!" A lady from PIBG came out and soften the commotion and to start the meeting as fast as possible as it’s a Saturday and parents have voiced up that they given up their time to be there.
Amazingly, this lady by name of Rose Aidura (whom I mentioned earlier before) is the CEO of the whole meeting. She is the head of discipline, welfare and safety, and kept on reiterating to all the parents that they must keep their questions to the day's agenda which she had set. Should anyone bring up items unrelated, she wanted the person/s to clear out of the room if not, should the situation arises, she will not hesitate to call the police to remove them. This was totally uncalled for – imagine a representative from PIBG threatening the parents. By the way Ms Rose Aidure – don’t forget the PIBG is the bridge between the parents and the school and NOT a tool for the school to attack the parents.
As expected the Pengetua was no where in sight and the attendance that morning were more than 30 parents (now you know why the Pengetua was missing).
My question here is this,
- Did any of the parents misbehaved or lost their temper that morning. Does it warrant a threat whereby Rose Aidura has to use the words “I will call the police” Could she be more civilized by saying? “I will take your matter up with the Pengetua but in the meantime let’s stick to the agenda we have in hand as we have limited time here” She was arrogant, bossy and thinks she is the Pengetua. Like one of the parents had posted, she is more of a POISON IVY rather than a rose.
- Why did Puan Karamjit have to shout in anger “let’s call the meeting off”? She is a teacher and a teacher should have behaved in a way whereby the parents would have respected her. She could have spoke nicely to the parents and say “let’s follow our agenda and not over react, we will take your questions up with the Pengetua separately” She would have gained more respect by this method of approach rather than running towards the meeting room and shouting like that. I am sure Ms Karamjit has a copy of the questions posted by the parents? Are those questions factual or was it fabricated? If you think it’s fabricated, then read on below:-
The most important element that morning was missing – WHERE WAS THE PENGETUA? Isn’t she the person who set the time table to meet the parents as stated in the newsletter? SO WHERE IS SHE?
The parents will not accept any excuse this time as this meeting has been planned weeks ago and it was the Pengetua and NOT the parents who set the date. The parents took the Saturday morning off just to be able to meet and resolve issues with the Pengetua. In the end it was the Pengetua who went missing and only showed up at the very end of the meeting. As someone has posted earlier – she probably received an SMS that the meeting was about to end so she just turned up and showed her face. If she has the courage and attended the full meeting, I am sure that many of the parents would have respected her and would even support her. Instead she hid from the parents and continue to play a “cat and mouse” game. So can you blame us parents for being totally annoyed with her (Hello Ms Karamjit – who is at fault here? – Parents or the Pengetua?) Like the saying goes if you are innocent –you fear no one.
The questions posted on the pamphlets are still unanswered? This will go on and go and will never end. One cannot continue to sweep dust under the carpet because eventually someone will notice it. One cannot hide forever for the truth will hunt us down. The parents only wanted a good education for their children and the solution is to resolve the issues stated in the questionnaire. Instead they have been conned into a meeting whereby only a fix agenda was allowed thus hiding and covering the dirt that still lies below.
- Why are the students complaining that the teachers are reading from the text books and NOT actually teaching.
- Why are there so many free classes nowadays?
- Are there sufficient teachers in the school?
Lastly, there are those that said that the parents fabricated all these questions to get rid of the Pengetua. Ok here is a simple question:
Why is the Pengetua afraid to face the parents? Was it fact or fabrication that she conveniently make herself unavailable during the following.
- Hari Bakat - which she has changed from Malam Bakat
- Hari Temu Mesra (this is an important day whereby parents come to get their children’s report card)
- All the soccer tournaments especially at the quarter finals, semi finals and even the finals.
- Cheerleaders' competition (both days)
- And her very own creation the great MAJLIS SUAIKENAL (only appearing at the last minute – we don’t fabricate, we report the truth). She attended the 1st when there were only 8 parents present but NOT the second when there were over 30 parents.
So Puan Pengetua, the Form 1 and 2 parents are scheduled on the 10th August. Will you be changing it to 2nd August (since you already met the Form 3’s) in anticipation that a lot will not turn up due to a last minute change or will stick to the original schedule where you will also disappear on the day (if the attendance is high).
Latest Incident:-
Yesterday (Monday), Puan Zubaidah who is also the Pengetua's personal escort (Note: bilik kesihatan) demonstrated her prowess in front of the whole school. Was it an act of a disciplinary move or could it be the act of a frustrated mindless uncivilized sod. Throwing students' books into a thrash bin is totally unacceptable and unbefitting of a senior teacher. Teachers who are of unsound mind and particularly those who have anger problems should immediately seek help before they become a burden to society and also endangering the lives of innocent students. No matter what the offence is, such barbaric act is unacceptable.
In summary the school has:
- A Pengetua who avoids meeting parents and avoid confronting issues in hand.
- Some teachers (the word is “some” and not “ALL”) that read from the text books instead of teaching.
- A teacher who shouted on top of her voice in the presence of parents.
- A PIBG representative who threaten parents by saying she will call the Police.
- A senior teacher who threw student’s books into the trash bin.
I miss the old SMKBUD4.

The MAJLIS SUAIKENAL PIBG
5th July 2008 Form 5
19th July 2008 Form 4
2nd August 2008 Form 3
10th August 2008 Form 1 and Form 2
The 1st session was completed on the 5th July and it took awhile to get some info on the outcome of the meeting as the attendance was extremely poor. A lot of SMS and personal calls were necessary and only this morning I got the outcome.
- It was attended by selected representative of the AJK PIBG together with teachers that are teaching Form 5. The Pengetua was there (surprise!!!)
- There were a total of nine Form 5 classes and my estimation of the student population would be in the region of 270 to 315. The parents who attended this Majlis Suaikenal were ONLY 8 which represented a miserable less than 3% of the student population. Now we know why the Pengetua attended. What can 8 parents do as compared to the AGM attendance ?
- The meeting was focus to ONLY 3 subjects i.e. Education, Discipline and Welfare and maybe that is why only a selected PIBG representative was there. Other matters were NOT entertained – due to time constrain.
- From my source it seems that the Pengetua hardly spoke and the person who spoke the most was a lady PIBG representative (sorry I didn’t get her name - a sweet malay lady). She was the mediator and was leading the whole discussion.
- Key question asked was about students smoking and it was replied that the school can only advised the students who are seen smoking outside the school compound as no disciplinary actions can be taken. Disciplinary action can only be taken if they are caught smoking in the school compound. Does that mean that a student can take a cigarette break by waking out of the school compound, have a smoke and come back for classes? Later the teacher can advised him to cut down smoking as it’s unhealthy. To students who are reading this - this statement is meant to be sarcasm and not a suggestion.
- Another important question raised was why the Form 5 class “tambahan” has not been implemented as it already July. The class tambahan was crucial in preparing the students for the SPM examination which is getting nearer and nearer. During this discussion, the responsibility of this matter was push to a teacher to answer. Now to be honest, who is the head of the school? The Pengetua or the teacher in charge of class “tambahan”? Is it fair for the teacher in charge of class "tambahan" to answer the questions raised when it is the responsibility of the Pengetua to ensure that the classes are in place to prepare the students for the SPM. The Pengetua may have the idea that most of the students in SMKBUD4 can afford tuition so there is no need for class tambahan. What about those who cant afford tuition. Where is the priority - school beautification or education?
- The meeting was in a rush manner and the parents questions were quickly summarised up. The following were also discussed briefly.
- students volunteering to paint the classroom - is it affecting their studies.
- Parents were unable to get a clear understanding from the form teachers on the performance of their children especially when its related to subjects not taught by the form teachers.
- Teachers need to explain and maybe repeat several times especially teaching weaker students.
So where do we go from here – to be continue - MAJLIS SUAIKENAL PIBG 2?

A Tribute to Sek Jia Yuen
To the Pengetua, I greatly respect and admire your compassion in this matter when you break the news to the students. I am sure that the family of the late Sek Jia Yuen would appreciate all the kind words that you have said about Jia Yuen.
For Sek Jia Yuen, you will be missed but never be forgotten and always be remembered as the classmate and school mate that brings smile and courage to all the students in SMKBU4.
This post will be removed after 7 days.

Pengetua / PIBG - what's happening???????
At the AGM, many questions were raised and especially on the RM30, 000 plus on landscaping. The representative of PIBG then promised the parents that another meeting will be scheduled whereby the Pengetua will be present. So when will this meeting be held.
The Pengetua then come up with a newsletter explaining that the funds were utilized through proper procedures with the PIBG. At the AGM, the question raised was why was the money spend on landscaping and NOT who approved the spending. RM30, 000 on landscaping will NOT help to improve the quality of education. When we asked about the rationalization of the expenditure the PIBG representative then explain that the importance of a beautiful garden can help in the children education. I don’t see how this is possible unless the student is studying horticulture and even with this I still cannot see the co-relationship between landscaping and examination results. Ok – so we will put aside some money at home and beautify our compound with roses and fountain and when our children sit for his PMR / SPM this year, it’s a guarantee straight A’s – can the PIBG guarantee this. If so we will immediately stop all tuition and instead allocate the money to beautify our garden. It's a damn good deal as by the end of the year there is a double bonus for we will be having a beautiful garden as well as children with straight A's.
Also during the PIBG, it was mentioned that the school secure a sponsor (the advertiser on the advertising pole) to build a shelter at the assembly area. So what has happened to this sponsorship? If not mistaken the amount is over RM100, 000 and where is the money now? For crying out loud, please don’t build a bigger fountain with this money.
The newsletter has a schedule whereby the Pengetua will meet the parents in 4 separate time slots. She is so free to allocate 4 time slots but when the parents go to the office to look for her, she is always busy and no where to be found. So now a parent with children in different forms would have to come a few times. Wouldn’t it be simpler to have ONE (SATU / 1) meeting and see everyone together? A Pengetua with such poor time management makes me suspicious if she can actually manage the school.
As for the PIBG, what is happening? I sincerely hope that there is no feud between the Pengetua and the PIBG. Last year at the Bakat Malam, I see members of the PIBG attending the event and even went o stage to sing “rasa sayang” with the previous Pengetua. Where were they this year and the excuse that in the day you don’t have the time is simply unacceptable. To me, it’s a sign of boycotting the event.
If there are any misunderstanding between the Pengetua and the PIBG, please resolve it and work together for the well being of the students. As they say when 2 elephants start to fight, it’s the ants that get killed. In this case, you don’t need a rocket scientist to guess which party represents the ants.

The Similarities
This post has been re-written from to focus on another traditional school event that must be carried on - The Cheer Leaders.
The students have been practising daily at the assembly under the hot sun for many hours to perfect their routine. Please give them the support needed to ensure that this year, they will not make any mistakes at the final and win the prize for the school.
Dear Pengetua please note that if they win, the credit and honour goes to you and not otherwise.

The NEED to support Hari Bakat and Cheer
I just read from my blog that none of the teachers are promoting the cheer this year. This will prompt me to investigate if you have anything to do with it. Last year during the cheer competition, your school (Please remember that SMKBUD4 is your school) appeared in the press and students from your school were even interviewed and Justin promise that this year they will come back with a greater force to win the competition. There was also a color photo of the students supporting the team. Please DON’T screw it up this year? What have you got against Cheer? If it was bad the Ministry would have banned it years ago. Instead it's being held in a very impressive venue. For goodness sake, what kind of modernised woman are you? We are in the 21st Century and you are still living in the Stone Age.
The "Hari Bakat" is over. A big thanks to all the students and parents who came and supported this event and also for making this event possible. To the students who participated and work so hard for this day, your performance was simply fantastic and greatly appreciated. Oh yes, thanks to all the teachers who organised this event and a huge an tremendous big thank you to the Pengetua for NOT showing up (this was expected and anticipated by many). The students behaved extremely well and there was no misbehaviour reported.

Message to the Honorable Pengetua of SMKBUD4
I am sure that you are aware of this “BLOG” and you cannot simply deny its existence. I am appealing to you to hold a meeting with the parents of the students to iron out all issues raised. As the administer of the website, my intentions were to ensure the good name of the school and the well being of the all the students. It was never meant to directly or indirectly attack anyone. What surprise me were the negative comments that came out.
Once again, I appeal to you and with the assistance from the P.I.B.G to organize a “get together” with the parents. I am sure the parents would like to meet up with you in the most friendly manner to discuss matters that concerned their children and the school they loved so much.
Do it neither for the sake of the parents nor the sake of anyone’s ego but rather for the well being of the all students. Both the PMR and SPM are months away and it’s best to resolve this matter so that there will no longer be any dissatisfaction among all concerned.
I am sure you can find the time in your busy schedule to meet them and they would definately accomodate your timing.
Puan Pengetua, some students of the school has expressed their feeling freely as they love the school and proud to be part of the school. Please view this as their freedom of expression and not to be taken NEGATIVELY in any manner.
Thank You

Message from the Administrator
Thank you so much for writing in and expressing your frustration on the school. If the 1st Pengetua was to know of this, I am sure it will shed tears from her eyes knowing that the hard work and dedication that she has put is being slowly destroyed.
The 1st Pengetua once told a parent which I happen to overheard that she wanted to make SMKBUD4 to be the school to be envy by others. Her dreams to build the reputation of the school through the Cheerleaders, the School Choir, the Debating Team and even swimming competition (NOTE: the school does not and till NOW do not have a swimming pool) has made the school to be very well known in Selangor. The teachers simply dread the end of the year just before school reopens when scores of parents will waiting in the office trying a get a place for their children to be enrolled in the school. I doubt this will be repeated this year as now scores of parents would want to enrol their children elsewhere. The good part of this is that the Pengetua has much lesser headache.
As the days go by I can envisage the reputation of the school being slowly eroded away. I need feedback from Parents as well as the teachers there to write in and express their grievances over this Pengetua.
Never be afraid to write in as long as the objective is for the betterment of the students and the school.
Remember “SILENCE MEANS CONSENT”.
The Pengtua and her Questionable Connections
- At the meeting, she wants to indirectly point out to us and even to the teachers that "hey I have my connection so dont screw around with me". You try screwing with me, I will make your life miserable.
- That the parents are not important as they are no threat to her as she knows higher level people in the Education department. Also dont screw around with me as I have good connection and I can also find out which class your child is in.
- What can the parents do her as any mistakes made can be directly pointed back to the PIBG committee. I feel sorry for the current committee who were elected in. Hey P.I.B.G please wake up and dont make irrational decision.
During the administration of the 1st Pengetua I used to be able to chat freely with the teachers when I meet them in the school (along the parking lane). I enjoyed meeting up with some of the teachers and have friendly discssuion about the school. Now it seem that the teachers are very afraid talk. Whenever I asked a question the reply I get was "Please ask the Pengetua".
I am beginning to wonder how she got to be the Pengetua here. It is a well known fact that everyone would want to be a Pengetua in a good and established school whereby everything is in proper. The legacy that the first Pengetua left behind makes this position extremely attractive. So how did she get to be here? Till now her ability to run the school and the administration clearly indicates that she is FAR from being capable. Her PR is "Pure Rubbish". I observed more "Hilter" style of administration. By way does anyone knows where the husband is working? Someone please enlighten us on this as it may become interesting reading material?

The Hidden Conspiracy
Last year my son had no choice but to sit for the Chinese PMR as this has been the rule of the school in the past. This year the Pengetua took "pity" and let the students choose not to take the Chinese paper. So a lot of students opted out of it. Ok here is the conspiracy.
In the past, there were insufficient Chinese teachers and so the previous Pengetua was able to get some funds out to hire external teachers to teach the second language. As such there were additional teachers to teach the second language. Now many students have decided not to sit for the paper, the additional teachers are NO longer required. Ok here is my question – what happened to the funds that was allocated for this?
As a parent I still like to know the ratinonal of the RM30K on the beautification. The school is still new and priority is to repair the school field to promote sports and not to build fountains and "pondoks" for beautification purpose.
We still want the rational on the spending on the beautification of the school.
Drugs in school and Smoking
I checked with my son and he confirmed that incident was real. This never happened in the past. Why is it happening now?
Denggi Fever in School
Under optimal conditions, the egg of an Aedes mosquito can hatch into a larva in less than a day.
Only the female aedes mosquito bites as it needs the protein in blood to develop its eggs.
The mosquito becomes infective approximately 7 days after it has bitten a person carrying the virus.
Peak biting is at dawn and dusk.
The average lifespan of an Aedes mosquito in Nature is 2 weeks
The mosquito can lay eggs about 3 times in its lifetime, and about 100 eggs are produced each time.
The eggs can lie dormant in dry conditions for up to about 9 months, after which they can hatch if exposed to favourable conditions, i.e. water and food
Why cant the Pengetua allocate some funds to repair these and to prevent the spread of denggi fever? Oh I forgot, the funds have been allocated to the beautification of the school.
As one of the P.I.B.G representative replied “sometimes in order to get our children to study better, it is good to have a beautiful surrounding / garden so that he can concentrate better” (this was his reply when asked about the rational of the funds spend). I have to admit that he is even better that our Malaysian Feng Shui master Lillian Too. Actually what he was implying was that we need to change our garden environment so that the Feng Shui changes and whatever our children studied will come out in the examination question. Way to go ………………………You are the MAN!!!!!!
P.I.B.G or was it Phantom Committee
- When is this meeting going to take place?
- When is the Pengetua free to meet the parents?
- When is the PIBG going to make this happen?
- Has there been any PIBG meeting held after this AGM to discuss the issues raised?
- Is the current P.I.B.G elected officers playing an active role in the school or are they just puppet committee members?
- Has anyone audited the RM90,000 expenses and who has approved the accounts?
- What has been done to the mosquitos issues in the school?
- Has any funds been given to the soccer team to participate in the "Dato Bandar" tournamnet?
- Why was the Teachers day not celebrated with appreciation given to the teachers? Go and ask your children how this day turned out.
- What happen to the shelter that was supposed to be build to provide shade during assembly?
- .......
- .......
- .......
Can someone please come up with an answer to the above. P.I.B.G please look into this matter before you be known as Phantom Ibu Bapa dan Guru Guru.

Sekolah Menengah Bandar Utama 4 - The STORY
Dear Parents and Students,
The school started in 1.12.2001, with only 132 students of Form 1 and Remove. As of 2007, the student's enrolment is around 1,300 students. As of 2006, its first SPM test was taken by four classes of Form Five students. The first school Headmistress was Liu Ling Ling (above picture right) a woman who portrayed liberal connections with other schools, including private schools like Sri KDU.
The school owes its success to Puan Liu Ling Ling who through her hard work and the support of the teachers have established the school to be well known in the state of Selangor. Success such as the debating team, swimming team and even the cheer leaders’ team has made the school to be the envy of other surrounding schools. The school is full of talents as witnessed through their "Bakat Malam" concert that is held every year.
Through the PIBG the school has a ideal environment whereby parents work closely with the teachers to improve the education standard of the school. Fund raising is fully supported by all parents in ensuring the school would have the extra funds to provide to the needs of the children.
2008 is the dawn of a new era with the arrival of a new and very "experienced" Pengetua. In the last PIBG meeting, many questions and issues were raised for the improvement of the school. However, due to the time factor and the fact that it was getting late in the evening, the PIBG meeting has to end at 7pm. As such, many parents were left with many unanswered questions on many issues. Due to this unforeseen event, this “blog” has been set up to allow other concern parents to properly and diplomatically present their issues to the Pengetua in the most appropriate manner.
All parents and students are invited to write in so that at the end of the day, the issues will be compiled and forwarded to her (the PENGETUA) to be resolved.
Updates
The school field is in a terrible mess as it's beginning to look like a pond. Apparently due to the rainy season, the drainage pipe has been clogged up and as such the school field look like a swampy land. On the sports day a few events had to be cancelled as the students were unable to run on the tracks. What a waste of all the efforts and practise the students have put in before the sports day.
Photos: Compliment from a ex-student who attended the sports day to cheer for his brother but sadly the event was cancelled due to the spoiled school field.
Note: The Flooded field which is left to shame during the Sports day. No efforts were taken to repair the field prior to the sports day, citing insufficient funds to do so.
The school pride itself for winning the MSSM Under 15 soccer tournamnet. A dedicated parent volunteered his services in coaching the students. No big announcement was made about this victory. By winning this championship, the school was invited to play in the "DATUK BANDAR" Cup. Feedback from the students is that the Pengetua is not responding possitive to this sport. It seem that the school lack the budget to sponsor the jerseys and the transportation. The estimated cost for participating in this invitation is estimated at RM6,500.
photos: compliments from a visiting ex-student Note the nice pondok and the fountain in the background.
REALITY
Over RM30,000 have been spend on the beautification of the school compound which was unnecessary. In the recent PIBG meeting, it was said that such efforts would benefit the students. What doesnt make sense here is that the amount spend would only enable 1.2% of the student population to enjoy the facilities. The "pondok duduk" and the fountain is of low priority as compared to the field which is now a breeding ground for the Aedes mosquito. For these dangerous mosquitoes, the school has provided the ultimate feeding ground, over 1,000 students and easily available from dawn to dusk. .
Both the above ie the repair of the field and the sponsorship of the soccer team requires some budget from the school. It seem that the school lack the funds while high expenses were put onto unnecessary item.I dont see the school responding positive to sports. Can someone highlight on this?
Do note that the intention of this "blog" is for the benefit of the students studying in SMKBU4. It is to allow parents to voice their dissatisfaction in the school and it's not intended to attack anyone personally.
